Stateside Urbancraft Vodka

Stateside Urbancraft Vodka began as a passion project in 2013 when brothers Matt and Bryan Quigley started distilling vodka in their basement while still in high school. After their father discovered their homemade still, they were compelled to leave home. This led them to pursue a distilling fellowship at Michigan State University and gain consulting experience at a Polish distillery. The brothers officially founded their company in 2015, aiming to establish a domestic American vodka brand.

Stateside Urbancraft Vodka is primarily known for its vodka, though the company has expanded its offerings to include hard seltzer, hard iced tea, and bourbon. Their vodka is meticulously crafted, undergoing seven-time distillation from 100% US corn in a custom copper pot still. The production process incorporates a proprietary finishing method that includes carbon, oxygen, and "ultra-cold" filtration steps. The proofing water, sourced from the Philadelphia tap system, is treated with a custom filtration system to infuse it with minerals, including electrolytes.

What makes Stateside Urbancraft Vodka distinctive is its commitment to quality and unique characteristics. The vodka is certified gluten-free, kosher, and contains zero sugar and zero carbohydrates, appealing to health-conscious consumers. Each batch is notably blessed by an in-house rabbi, and a portion of all proceeds is donated to various progressive causes. The brand is also recognized for its custom-designed swing-top bottles, which are both eye-catching and reusable.

Stateside Urbancraft Vodka has achieved significant recognition and accolades since its inception. It was named the official vodka of the 2016 Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia, surpassing established brands like Ketel One and Grey Goose. The brand has become Pennsylvania's top-selling craft spirit and the fastest-growing vodka in the state. In 2023, Men's Journal ranked Stateside as the 6th best cocktail vodka in the United States. The vodka has also received multiple prestigious industry awards, including the Craft Spirits Competition, International Wine & Spirits Competition, and a Double Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition in 2024.
