Founded in 2012 as Prairie Wolf Spirits, WanderFolk holds the distinction of being Oklahoma's inaugural legal distillery. The name pays homage to Audubon's documentation of coyotes, or "prairie wolves," that once wandered the Oklahoma plains. Their flagship Same Old Moses Bourbon honors a Kansas grocer who established Oklahoma Territory's first legal saloon. This four-grain bourbon ages four years before undergoing double-barreling in new American white oak, a technique that intensifies the wood influence. Beyond whiskey, WanderFolk produces Garden Society Gin with twelve botanicals, nine-times-distilled Lavender Lemon Vodka, and a cold-brewed coffee liqueur, all crafted in extremely small batches.
