Two Trees Distilling, founded in 2018, is located in Fletcher, North Carolina, nestled deep in the Appalachian Mountain country. The company was acquired by MDWerks on December 12, 2023, and operates as a subsidiary, Two Trees Beverage Company. The distillery is known for producing a range of fine spirits, including whiskey, bourbon, and vodka, utilizing pristine Appalachian Mountain water and high-quality grains.

Their approach to spirit-making is distinguished by their proprietary "Sustainably Matured™" aging method. This innovative process significantly reduces the spirits industry's dependency on wood by up to 90% compared to traditional barrel-aging, thereby decreasing carbon emissions and allowing products to reach peak maturation levels more quickly. Two Trees carefully selects and toasts wood varieties to achieve rich flavor profiles and a hint of smoke in their spirits.

Two Trees Distilling offers a diverse portfolio of expressions, including Land of the Sky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, crafted from a mash bill of corn, wheat, and malted barley and aged for at least three years. Other notable products include Batch 314, Wood Crafted Bourbon, and various offerings from their Folklore Series, such as Snarly Yow Bourbon. They also produce Two Trees Vodka and a wide array of flavored whiskeys like Carolina Peach, Peanut Butter, and Sea Salted Caramel, alongside ready-to-drink cocktails such as Old Fashioned and Manhattan. The distillery also produces Tim Smith Spirits brands.

The distillery has garnered numerous accolades for its products and practices. Two Trees Distilling was recognized as the Best Distillery of Asheville for three consecutive years (2023, 2024, and 2025). Their Land of the Sky Straight Bourbon Whiskey received a Gold Medal at the 2025 New York International Spirits Competition. Other awards include a Platinum Sip Award in 2022 for Two Trees Carolina Peach Whiskey, a Gold Sip Award in 2022 for their Old Fashioned RTD, and the Best Flavored Whiskey Award in 2022 for Two Trees Peanut Butter Whiskey from The 50 Best Awards. Additionally, Two Trees Distilling launched its "Uplifting Spirits" product line, with 10% of Land of the Sky sales dedicated to Hurricane Helene relief and environmental initiatives.
