History & Heritage

Phenomenal Spirits emerged from Sudhir's vision to fill gaps in the ultra-premium spirits market through precision blending and innovative finishing techniques. The company launched internationally in 2018 before entering the domestic market in 2020, now distributing across 20 US states and 11 international markets. Master Blender Matt Witzig, formerly of Joseph Magnus Distillery, brings decades of distilling knowledge to the operation's Virginia Beach blending facility.

The Whiskey

The flagship RY3 Whiskey exemplifies their approach: three mash bills, three distillates, and three age statements sourced from American and Canadian distilleries, then blended and finished in rum casks. This Maryland-style rye incorporates corn whiskey to balance spice with sweetness, earning the moniker "the Bourbon-drinker's rye whiskey." Variations include Madeira Cask, Naranja Cask, Toasted Barrel, and the RY3 Cigar Series. The company also produces Ron Izalco rum, blending Central American expressions aged in ex-bourbon barrels, with 10 and 15-year expressions earning international recognition.
