Virginia Distillery Co. earned Best American Single Malt at the 2026 World Whiskies Awards while launching three limited expressions. The distillery added two stout-finished whiskeys to its Brewer's Coalition series: a Madagascar Stout Cask collaboration with 4 Hands Brewing and an Old Rasputin Stout partnership with North Coast Brewing, both aged over five years and bottled at 50% ABV. They also debuted VDC First Cut Cigar Blend. The award validates Virginia's steady work in American single malt, though these brewery collaborations feel like familiar territory for the distillery.
