Victoria Distillers, established in 2008, stands as one of Canada's oldest artisan distilleries, situated on a unique waterfront location in Sidney, British Columbia. The distillery has grown significantly since its founding, eventually being acquired by Milestone Brands in 2022. Their commitment to crafting handmade spirits is evident in their diverse portfolio.

The distillery is renowned for producing a range of spirits using copper pot stills, most notably their award-winning gins. Beyond gin, Victoria Distillers also crafts a unique limited edition whiskey, organic hemp vodka, spiced rum, chocolate liqueur, and aged brandy. Their approach to spirit-making involves collaboration with talented mixologists to create both classic and innovative cocktail spirits, utilizing high-quality water from the Canadian west coast and fine ingredients from around the world.

What makes Victoria Distillers distinctive is not only its historical standing as one of Canada's pioneering small-batch spirits companies but also its innovative spirit. A prime example is their Empress 1908 Indigo Gin, which gains its vivid blue hue from butterfly pea blossoms and famously changes color when mixed with citrus or tonic. The distillery also demonstrates a commitment to sustainability, employing an energy-saving, closed-loop system that recaptures heat from distillation and transfers it to a neighboring hotel, reducing environmental impact.

Among their notable expressions, the Empress 1908 Indigo Gin has garnered significant acclaim, receiving awards such as Best Alcohol Drink at the World Beverage Innovation Awards, a Gold Medal at the New York World Wine & Spirits Competition, and a Silver Medal at the Bartender Spirits Awards in 2024. Other recognized spirits include Victoria Gin and the Empress 1908 Elderflower Rose Gin, which also earned a Silver Medal at the 2024 Bartender Spirits Awards.
