Heaven Hill Blends Two Mashbills Into One Bonded Bourbon

Week of July 13, 2026

Heaven Hill has released a Bottled-in-Bond bourbon it calls Double Mash, marrying two distinct bourbon mashbills in a single expression.

The distillery bills it as a first-of-its-kind approach, leaning on its long-running rye-recipe and wheated bourbon stocks under the strict Bottled-in-Bond banner: one distillery, one distilling season, four years minimum age, 100 proof.

The Bottled-in-Bond rules leave little room for shortcuts, so credit where due: this is a distillery flexing its range rather than its marketing department.

Details

Proof: 100
Mashbill: combination of two distinct bourbon mashbills
